The black poly trailer tongue truck box gives you increased durability in a lightweight package with its dent- and rust-resistant molded, high-density ribbed polyethylene construction. I have had this toolbox for a year and thought that it was time to finally write a review. There is nothing that I don’t like about this toolbox.
It’s the perfect size and shape for my needs. I use it as a battery box but I also store a lot of other things in there, too. There is plenty of room for everything. I am very happy that I made the choice that I did. I am also very happy that I chose the white color because it doesn’t get as hot as the black ones do. Also, it just looks better with my camper and I get a lot of compliments on it.
This tool box is amazing!! Everything operates the way it was designed and hold up the the harsh Arizona sun.
For the money, this is an excellent trailer box. I've had it mounted to the front of my double jet ski trailer for the last year, and it's held up well. The lid and securing hasp are sturdy, and the walls are thick.
I use it to store a jack, tools, cleaning products, bungees, and the covers when not in use. There's plenty of room to store all those items, plus I can fit in a few life jackets.
It's seen plenty of rain over the last year, and has done an admirable job of keeping water out. No issues here. The white color will probably get a little dirty over time, but it matches my white trailer well.
This box has been perfect! etrailer has great service, expert advice, and they seem to only sell good products--you never know what you might get on Amazon or somewhere else. I have bought a lot of equipment from them, always great!

The metal is extremely sharp where it was sheared in manufacturing. Sharp to the point of cutting. I will have to find
something to cover the edges. Also doesn’t have an air cylinder to hold the lid open.
I attached this toolbox with u bolts to the frame of my trailer and absolutely love it! So roomy and perfect for outdoor storage needs.
Good lightweight storage box. Easy installation on my utility trailer. Perfect fit and exactly what I was looking for.
How would I know, I haven’t even had a chance to open the box! Ask for a review after time to try it.

After one year, its still working great and holding up well.
This box holds a 12V Marine Type battery for the electric 3500# jack, as well as 2 X 6 pieces of board blocks, and plenty of room for tools as needed. Keeps all dry and secure. I even leave a trickle charger in the box, for when it is close to an outlet.
This is my second purchase from etrailer.com this year. The parts just as advertised. I purchased the cheaper version of the trailer tool box as I was less interested in security and more in organization. This box is exactly what I needed. Inexpensive, easy to install. The bottom seemed a bit think so we cut a piece of plywood as a floor insert which really helped. This box is not what you want to high security but for weatherproofing and keeping the tire iron and straps straight, its perfect. Would like to give 5 stars but its really just a nice 4 star plastic product.
Fit perfectly on the front frame rails of my cargo trailer. I just had to center the box and then drill 4 holes to anchor it. It seems to be weatherproof enough to keep out the rain. I have noticed a little rust developing on the metal clasp however that’s not a big deal for me.
Shipping was very fast. Box is sturdy and is exactly what I needed for my kayak trailer. Installs easily and the latch accommodates large padlocks.

Very good quality. I did add some stick on weather stripping and the box is completely water proof. I drove 20 hours in pouring rain and not one of water got into the box. I would purchase this again if I had the need for another one.
